As the Seasons Are Written

As the seasons

are written,

there are only

a few

who are not

courageous,

and therefore

say their “adieu.”

Like January, so

chilly, so breezy,

so brisk,

standing alone

in the cold

is not worth the risk,

And April so gloomy,

filled with fog and the rain.

The weather in April is not at all sane.
